A Baltimore native, Tim McFadden, found his love for glassblowing and sculpting in 2001 while attending Salisbury University on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. In the Fall of 2006, he retrofitted his first glassblowing studio in South East Baltimore where he designs new work and refines his craftsmanship. Most of Tim’s work is founded on Italian techniques that he has studied and developed at some of the most reputable glass schools in the country, most notably the Corning Museum of Glass and Pilchuck Glass School. His work is sold internationally and has been exhibited in some of the top galleries and museums, including the Walters Art Museum and American Visionary Art Museum here in Baltimore.
